Our client

Le Bon Marché was founded in 1852 and comprises two department stores in Paris.

The first one is Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche, a benchmark shop in the French capital, offering an exclusive selection of brands. This shop offers a unique experience and location as well as a quality of service for both its international and French customers.

La Grande Épicerie de Paris is the second department store, which was inaugurated more recently in 2013. It is a fine grocery concept known throughout Europe. The store’s aim is to offer a unique gourmet experience thanks to the expertise of its craftsmen and artists, and to become a reference in gastronomy.

Le Bon Marché's goal

Lou-Anne, HR Business Partner at Le Bon Marché, was looking for an English and French-speaking Customer Relations Advisor to provide a high quality welcome and orientation in the store.

This position’s role is to ensure the development of all customer services, and also to welcome and direct customers in the store.

Thus, the person in charge of this position will have to receive and resolve customer complaints.

The job offered by Le Bon Marché

In team with the Customer Relations Managers, the Customer Relations Advisor will be the point of contact of the store’s customers, providing a high quality welcome, guidance and service.

The requirements for the job are the following:

  • Speak fluent English with French as a mother tongue as well as a third language if possible
  • Have successful experience in reception
  • Have great interpersonal skills
  • A sense of service in a high-end environment for demanding customers
  • Be able to react quickly and have a team spirit
