How did Arc Europe recruit a German and French-speaking Assistance Coordinator?

Our client

ARC Europe is a major player in automotive assistance and mobility services.

Working on a white-label basis, the company is present throughout Europe on behalf of major players in the automotive industry.

Customers include manufacturers, insurers and brokers, all of whom can be assisted by one of its 420 employees.

The staff in Europe help drivers in difficulty in France and across Europe.

Arc Europe's goal

Sylvie, Peter and Yanis from Arc Europe were looking for a bilingual French and German Assistance Coordinator, and have called on the expertise of MisterBilingue - a recruitment agency.

Their role is to assist motorists in difficulty on the roads of France and Europe by acting as their first point of contact.

The aim is to offer assistance and mobility solutions tailored to each customer's situation, so that they can continue their journey.

The job offered by Arc Europe

Arc Europe was recruiting an Assistance Coordinator to strengthen its assistance and solutions service for drivers in difficulty.

The requirements for the job are the following:

  • Speak fluent German with a good level of French
  • Feel comfortable calling and using IT tools
  • Have great analytical skills
  • Have good interpersonal skills and a sense of customer service

Our support

MisterBilingue has been working with Arc Europe on a regular basis since June 2021 to help them strengthen their team and consequently their support and solution service for drivers in France and Europe.

First, MisterBilingue interviews the candidate to find out more about their profile and understand their expectations. Following this, a German language test is given to do by the candidate.

Then, a pre-qualification phone interview is held between the candidate and the RAC HR to ensure that both parties have a clear understanding of each other’s expectations.

Once this interview is done and validated, a final exchange takes place with the German Customer Service manager so that the candidate can then obtain a response to their application.

The multilingual talent proposed by MisterBilingue

To ensure that they found the ideal candidate for the job, Sylvie, Peter, Yanis and Intza were in regular contact for this recruitment mission. In the end, they found the profile that best matched the vacancy: Glen, bilingual in German and French.

He was able to develop his interpersonal skills thanks to his experience as a teleconsultant at B2S, where he managed customer accounts.

His team spirit and enthusiasm are very important qualities for this position, and were key factors in his selection.

Glen joined Arc Europe's ambitious and dynamic team in March 2023 as an Assistance Coordinator!
