With the crisis all means are being employed to save money and try to stay above water before the end of the month.
With this in mind, the trend of "do it yourself" makes sense. DIY advices, personalization, customization, decorative design : it has never been as popular as in this critical context. Tutorials and DIY blogs flourish by thousands on the web.
This French startup with an international dimension is put forward in that context. True actors of E-commerce, they position themselves as "the Amazon of DIY". In less than 4 years, they raised 55M, the team has been multiplied by 75, they had been elected best E-commerce website, and are present internationally. Today they are looking for their new Communication Manager – UK to face this exponential growth !
Your missions
To continue on its chosen path, they are looking to strengthen their Marketing and International Communication team. You are in charge of greatly develop the notoriety / reputation of the company in UK.
Main missions
- You are responsible of implementing and deploying a brand communication strategy in accordance with the established Sales strategy in UK and the company's customer-centric approach.
- You are in charge of ensuring brand consistency and deploying the marketing strategy locally through all our communication media :
- Online and offline campaigns (TV mainly)
- B2B & B2C press relations
- Social networks
- Communities of customers on the website
- Relationships with influencers
-Partnerships
- You transversally work with the brand managers of the different European countries to innovate and brainstorm on a daily basis.
- You are managing your n-1. You help him/her improve his skills, share you experience and expertise and support him/her to develop his professional and personnal qualifications.
Your profile
For this strategic role, we are looking for someone who has :
- Master II in Business or Communication school (or equivalent),
- English native, you master the English language and culture.
- At least 7 years of experience in communication and marketing, you know the English market like your pocket and you do understand the stakes of E-commerce in this country.
- You have a strong strategic vision but you are not afraid of getting your hands dirty to face challenges.
- You are passionate about startups, you have excellent initiative abilities.
- You are proactive and adaptbale. You know how to prioritize your tasks according to emergencies.
- You are super energetic, creative and innovative, organized and autonomous.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, you are comfortable with team projects/work.
- You ain’t afraid of numbers and analytics.
