The importance of protecting your privacy

Mister Bilingual's mission is to put candidates in touch with companies that are recruiting in their entirety in order to accompany them on their path to success. At the heart of this mission, we place our commitment to transparency regarding the data collected about you, its use and the entities with which we share it.

This Privacy Policy applies whenever you use our services (described below). We provide our users with several options regarding the data we collect, use and share as described in this Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy.

1 Data Collected

1.1 The data you provide us with

Registration : To create an account, you must enter your first name, last name, e-mail address and a password.

Profile : To complete your profile, you must indicate the following: nationality, function, languages and language levels, level of experience, level of education, sector of activity, desired remuneration, city, type of contract and desired working hours. A photo can also be imported but it is optional. The aim is to create the most complete Candidate Page for you in order to provide the recruiter with the best possible information.

CV : In order to finalise your registration and to be able to apply, you will be asked to provide a CV in PDF format. You are free to indicate any information you wish, we do not require any particular information.

1.2 Use of our services We record usage data when you access our Services, including our site, newsletter, and other services, such as when you post or click on content (e.g., a photo) or advertisements (on or off our sites), when you perform a search, share articles, or apply for ads. We use log identifiers, cookies, device information and IP addresses to identify you and to record your activity.

1.3 Cookies, web beacons As detailed in our cookie policy, we use cookies and similar technologies (such as web beacons, pixels, ad tags and device identifiers) to recognize you and/or your devices when you log in/out or move from one Service or device to another. We also allow third parties to use cookies in accordance with our Cookie Policy. You can control cookies through your browser preferences and other tools. In addition, you may object to our use of cookies and similar technologies that track your activities on third party sites for advertising purposes by such third parties. 1.4 Other As part of improving our Services, we are obtaining new data and looking for new ways to use it.

Because our Services are dynamic, we often offer new features that may require the collection of new information. If we were to collect personal data of a substantially different nature or significantly change our use of your data, we would inform you of this and also amend this Privacy Policy.

2. Use of your collected data

2.1 Services We use your data to give you access to our services.

Apply for a job: Our Services allow you, after completing the full registration process, to apply online for the job offers that interest you. The registration data, profile and CV are sent to the company that placed the advertisement as soon as you apply for an advertisement.

Be visible to recruiters : Our services allow companies with access to the CV Database to be able to access the data collected. Any candidate registered on the site makes the data provided visible to companies. The aim is to enable candidates to be contacted directly by companies and thus to be recruited more easily.

2.2 Communications We send registered candidates a newsletter with information as well as recently published job offers. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter by clicking on the link in the newsletter or on the following link: Unsubscribe

2.3 Advertising Advertising is present in an insert to registered and non-registered persons. It is not linked to the data provided by you or collected via your navigation.

2.4 Customer support We use the data (possibly including your communications) to examine the

2.5 Statistical reports We use your data to generate and share aggregated information that does not identify you personally. For example, we may use your data to generate statistics about registered candidates, their language skills, occupation or sector, in order to publish statistical information for recruiting companies.

2.6 Security and investigation We use your data when necessary for security purposes, or to investigate suspected fraud and other violations of Mister Bilingual's Terms of Use or this Privacy Policy and/or attempts to harm our candidates or companies.

3. Information Sharing

3.1 Our Services Profile and CV : Your profile and CV are shared by email to companies when you apply for one of their job offers. Your profile and CV are shared on the CVthèque with companies that have subscribed to this service.

3.2 Communication Profile and CV : Your profile and CV can be shared with companies in the newsletter sent to companies. Every 15 days, a newsletter is sent to registered companies with a selection of 6 registered candidates.

3.2 Service providers We use third parties to provide our Services (e.g. for maintenance, statistics, audits, payments, fraud detection, marketing and development). They have access to your information to the extent necessary to perform these tasks on our behalf, and are required not to disclose it or use it for any other purpose.

3.3 Legal Disclosures We may be required to disclose information about you when we are required to do so by law, court order or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to (1) investigate, prevent or take action regarding suspected or actual illegal activities, or (2) assist judicial authorities; (2) comply with contracts entered into with you; (3) investigate and defend against allegations and complaints from third parties; (4) ensure the security or integrity of our Service (for example, by sharing with companies facing the same threats); or (5) exercise or protect the rights and safety of Mister Bilingual, our users, our staff or third parties. If we deem it appropriate, we endeavour to notify Users who are the subject of a legal request for disclosure of their personal data, except in an emergency or if prohibited by law or a court order. We may challenge such requests when we believe, in our discretion, that they are excessive, vague or not properly authorised, but we do not undertake to challenge all such requests.

3.4 Takeover or Sale We may share your personal information in connection with a sale, merger or takeover, or in preparation for these events. Any third party entity purchasing all or part of our business will be permitted to use your data, but only in accordance with this Privacy Policy, unless you tell us otherwise.

4. Your rights

4.1 Retention of data We retain your personal data for as long as your account exists or as long as necessary to provide you with the Services. This includes data provided to us by you or third parties and data generated or inferred from your use of our Services. Even if you use our Services only sporadically to search for a new job, we retain your information and maintain your profile until you close your account.

4.2 Access rights and control over your data About the personal data we hold about you :

Deletion of data: You may request us to delete or erase all or part of your personal data (for example, if it is no longer necessary for us to provide you with Services).

Modification or correction of data: you can modify your personal data through your account.

Objections, limitations, restrictions or use of data: you may ask us to stop using all or part of your personal data (for example, if we have no legal right to continue using it) or to limit our use of it (for example, if your personal data is inaccurate or held unlawfully).

Right of access and/or removal of your data: you may request a copy of your personal data as well as a copy of the personal data you have provided in a machine-readable format.

4.3 Account deletion If you delete your account, your personal data is generally no longer visible on our Services within 24 hours. We usually delete information from accounts that are closed within 30 days, with the following exceptions.

We retain your personal data after your account is closed when reasonably necessary to fulfill our legal obligations (including requests from authorities), comply with regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce the LinkedIn Terms of Use. We retain personalized information after your account is closed.

We do not control the data shared with companies when you apply. Your CV will always be accessible to the companies you applied to. Your profile and the data on it, however, will no longer be accessible at all after deletion of the account.

5 Important information

5.1 Security We implement security measures to protect your data, such as the HTTPS protocol. We regularly monitor our systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks. However, this does not allow us to guarantee the security of the information you send us. There is no guarantee that the data will not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed by a breach of our managerial, technical or physical protections.

5.2 Legal basis for processing We will only collect and process personal data about you for which we have a legal basis. The legal bases include your consent and "legitimate interests".

Where the processing of your personal data is subject to your consent, you have the right not to consent or to withdraw your consent at any time; where the processing of your personal data is subject to legitimate interests, you have the right to object.
