If the answer to any of those questions is 'yes', we'll see you at the 6th edition of Paris' Work and Professional Mobility Fair! It takes place over two days at the Grande Halle de la Villette, from Thursday the 16th January to Friday the 17th January, 2020.

On the menu at this fair: more than 250 exhibitors/recruiters (including Apple, Monoprix, AXA, SNCF, etc.) and thirty conferences and workshops led by specialists from across various professional spheres.

Whether you're a recent graduate, a job seeker or even a senior manager, you'll be able to find the job you need here thanks to the different "villages" within the fair.

The villages are organized according to job profile and job expectations:

The Student Fair (Le Salon de l'Etudiant)

Are you young? Are you on the cusp of embarking on new studies or discovering the world of work? Look no further, all the answers to your questions are here at the 2020 Student Fair!

Organized at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Center, this fair takes place from Friday 31st January to Sunday 2nd February, 2020 (it takes place at other times during the year, too)!

Here you can swap ideas and gain valuable advice from training and recruitment experts. There are 35 trade fair conferences to attend, taking place in the form of round tables and workshops.

Some of the talks on the menu:

- Comms, advertising, marketing: which degree for which field?

- Building your own personal and professional project: choose your path, choose your university.

- Finding your bearings: the potential in your personality, your motivations and your educational background.

- Science, technology, industry: which degrees? Which fields?

- Which qualifications do I need to work in the IT/digital field?

All in all, there will be more than 600 exhibitors and training experts on hand to advise you on your journey as a student and young professional. Paris Youth Employment Fair 2020 (Paris pour l'emploi des jeunes)

The 2019 fair saw 200 recruiters show up for more than 11,500 candidates. On the 21st January, 2020, from 10 AM to 6 PM, the Paris Youth Employment Fair 2020 will be back at the Grande Halle de la Villette!

With more than 300 employers turning up for the fair's 8th edition and almost 4,500 job offers on the table, this is a truly unmissable event for anyone aged between 18 and 30 and on the lookout for a job, an apprenticeship or even some advice.

Whatever your skill level, your education or your expectations, here you'll find both permanent and fixed-term contracts, work-study programmes and internship offers.

The recruiters at the fair represent a wide variety of sectors, whether it be banking, non-profit, energy, IT, marketing, communications, fashion, management, administration, or something else.

There will also be dedicated spaces for equal opportunities among those with disabilities, allowing everyone to find a job regardless of their personal situation.

Each year, nearly 2,000 people clinch a job contract at this fair, so don't forget to fill in the online application by the 10th January, and make sure to bring your CV along on D-Day!

Initialis Job Forum (Forum Emploi Initialis)

Monday, 27th January, 2020: save the date because this is when the 51st edition of the Initialis Job Forum will take place at the Cité internationale universitaire de Paris.

From 9 AM to 1 PM, you'll be able to chat and apply to around twenty companies recruiting new employees for a range of commercial and managerial positions. Ordinarily these are opportunities geared towards graduates and postgraduates, or young professionals with some experience in the job market.

You'll be able to find hundreds of positions across various sectors at this forum, from Sales Manager, Customer Advisor and Commercial Advisor to Manager, Consultant, Auditor, Account Manager, Client Manager, and many more!

If you won't be around for the 51st edition of the Initialis Job Forum, no fear, because it's a recurring event with several more dates already confirmed for 2020:

Pôle Emploi is the main public body for finding a job in France.

Their dedicated website provides a space to register with online job fairs so that you can interview with companies without the need to travel up and down the country.

And it couldn't be simpler! All you need to do is create an account, search for the type of job or skills you're looking for and your desired place of work, and the site will display all the most relevant job fairs in progress or coming up.

Once you've found the right fair for you, then you can look at the participating stands and companies in detail, including their job offers. From there, you'll have the possibility to upload your CV in PDF or Word format for any of the job offers that seem to match your profile and ambitions.

The added plus: if you see a company that catches your eye, but they don't happen to be offering the job of your dreams right now, the platform allows you to submit your CV to them just in case.
